My name’s Xiaobai.

After my owner abandoned me, I was left to wander the streets all alone.

I was often hungry, drenched in the rain, and even tossed into a pile of trash.

But one day, everything changed — I met a kind girl who turned my life around.

It was a cold, rainy winter day when she brought me warm clothes to help me stay cozy.

She took me home, gave me a bath, fed me tasty food, and even took me out on car rides.

When I got seriously sick, she brought me to the vet and looked after me with so much love.

And finally, one day, she found me a brand-new home.

Now, in my new place, there’s a soft blanket, warm sunlight, and peaceful afternoon naps full of sweet dreams. I get to run free on the beach, wear cool outfits, and play with brand new toys.

I’m honestly the happiest I’ve ever been.

My new owner even made my photo her WeChat profile picture!

And now, I’ve got a new name too — Ali.

I feel so lucky. I hope every stray out there who’s been through tough times can get the same second chance I did — a safe, loving home.
